The Town centre offers a variety of places to eat, with many restaurants and cafes offering al fresco dining around the recently rejuvenated Strand.
The beach with its two miles of sand stretching from the Marina to Orcombe Point provides an array of water sport activities. The stunning seascape and Estuary views can be enjoyed by both pedestrians and cyclists along the entire promenade / designated cycle path. Cycles and water sport equipment are readily available for hire from local outlets.
Orcombe Point, although further afield, is the East Devon gateway to the Jurassic Coastline. A UNESCO World Heritage site that continues for 95 miles (153km) along the South West coast path and concludes at Old Harry Rocks, Swanage, East Dorset.
The Exe estuary is easily traversed from Exmouth to Topsham following the completion of a decked walkway, for use by walkers and cyclists alike. There are spectacular views across the mouth of the estuary and beyond, augmented by the ever changing tides. There is an abundance of wildlife to be viewed, whatever the time of year.
Public transport is frequent and dependable, Exeter being just 25 minutes by train. By car, we are just 10 miles from J30 of the M5 motorway.
